It was sweltering outside on Day 3, but inside Real to Reel the edge was taken off, thanks to the air-conditioners left by the Chung Wah Association. Folks came down to hang out and escape the heat, and 10 new recordings were made.
Simone & Girlfunkle were up first, and they were a highly entertaining start to Sunday.
Ducked out for some Icey Ice and when we returned, Split Seconds were setting up. Points must be awarded to Anto, the most entertaining drummer we’ve come across for some time.
Thanks to Simone & Girlfunkle and Split Seconds for making today really great, and thanks also to My Majestic Star, Shock! Horror!, Pond and Craig McElhinney for keeping us company and entertaining us in the best way possible over the last few days.
Tomorrow’s line up has changed slightly – poor Hayley Beth is battling a throat infection and will be joining us for an early session at 10am on Wednesday. Coming by instead are the delightful ladies from Brash and Sassy and their keyboardist. See you round midday!
